The Seattle band Blood Brothers are set to release a new EP. The EP is entitled Love Rhymes with Hideous Car Wreck and will be out on May 23rd. The EP will include eight tracks including a live recording made at last year’s Reading Festival of “Love Rhymes with Hideous Car Wreck” and an alternate version of “Crimes.” The Blood Brothers have recently entered the studio to record a follow-up full length to 2004′s Crimes.
The Communication Opportunity, Promotion and Enhancement Act (COPE) is a Republican-backed bill that is expecting to see a committee vote today. Although the bill is likely to remain as it is, it is expected to expose a rift between the parties because Democrats say that it does not do enough to protect net neutrality.
Microsoft has announced plans to release a beta version of Internet Explorer 7. The new version includes fixes for problems that had stopped Explorer 7 from working. Microsoft had said that many reported problems involved banking sites and that this was due to security changes. This is the third beta of IE 7 that has been made available to the public.
