News Corp. is looking to add Web 2.0 capabilities such as subscription features and transcription capabilities to its online community site myspace.com. News Corp. is hoping to create a hybrid between traditional media and user-created content.

Band Osaka Pop Star created out of influential punks

Jerry Only, Marky Ramone, Dez Cadena and Ivan Julian have come together to form a new band to be fronted by John Cafiero called Osaka Pop Star. The bands first CD is set to be released on May 23rd. It will be self-titled and sold along with a bonus DVD from Misfits/Rykodisc Records.

IBM is offering a deal of up to $20,000 to its partners who can get users to switch from Microsoft Exchange to IBM’s Notes and Domino software. IBM’s software is linux based and is an extension of IBM’s Move2Lotus campaign.
