Yoko Ono’s next release, Yes, I Am a Witch is set to be released in 2007 by Astralwerks. Ono doesn’t play a note on the album, but rather collected seventeen different artists to contribute covers of songs from her catalogue. Some of the artists who have made a contribution are The Flaming Lips, Polyphonic Spree, Le Tigre, The Apples in Stereo, Cat Power and The Sleep Jackson.
IE, Firefox flaw could allow for stolen passwords
A vulnerability discovered by Robert Chapin would allow passwords to be compromised by presenting users with a fake login in form. The vulnerability, called a reverse cross-site request, is possible with any forum that allows for users to enter HTML code and has already been seen on Myspace.com. Chapin Information Services says that users of Firefox and Internet Explorer need to be aware of the flaw because they may become vulnerable when visiting trusted sites.
My Chemical Romance to headline festival
My Chemical Romance has been announced as one of the headliners for next year’s Bamboozle Festival. The band will be headlining day one of the festival to be held at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey. Linkin Park is set to headline day 2 of the festival. Tickets will go on sale on November 24th.
