YAMI BOLO sings "Freedom and Liberation"

The international music scene produces many talented musicians little known to the public. One of such musicians is Yami Bolo, a roots culture singer, emerging from the Jamaican reggae scene.

Yami was born in 1970 as Rolando McClean. Through church activities, which his grandmother always encouraged, he became exposed to music at an early age. He embraced music, fully destined to be a star, when his grandmother gave him an accordion and trombone.

At 13 he recorded his hit single "When a Man's In Love" a song which the rapper singer KRS1 sampled in his hit "Take it Easy". Bolo's commitment and conscious lyrics are clearly expressed in his music as a singer, songwriter, and musician.

He has over 19 albums, including "Jah Made Them All", "He Who Knows It Feels It", "Up Life Street", "Cool and Eazy", "Freedom and Liberation", "Fighting for Peace" and "Born Again".
