Wyclef Jean is due to appear at a rally for immigrant workers' rights in New
York tomorrow. The event marks the end of a cross-country bus trip made by
more than 900 self-proclaimed "freedom riders" who have travelled 20,000
miles around America to protest against what they describe as the US's
"out-of-date, out-of-touch" immigration policies. Jean will offer his
support for the campaign alongside Mexican rockers Bronco, Congressman John
Lewis, Cardinal Edward Egan and Maria Elena Durazo, national chairperson of
the Immigrant Workers Freedom Ride.
