Woman to Face Charges After Elvis Related Stabbing. An Australian woman was charged with unlawful wounding in Northam near Perth after stabbing her partner with a pair of scissors. Her partner had reportedly played Elvis Presley’s “Burning Love” repeatedly. The 35-year old man’s injuries were described as non-life threatening. She stabbed him in the thigh, the back and the shoulder.
New Beyonce could be available next year. With Destiny’s Child behind her, singer Beyoncé Knowles is working on her next film Dream Girls. Knowles says that after filming she will head to the studio to work on her next solo album. She has said that she won’t start work on the record until after she is finished filming the movie.
Bloc Party Begin Set to Record Sophomore CD.The British band will be ended back to the studio at month’s end to begin recording the follow up to Silent Alarm, their debut CD. The release date is set for sometime later this year. In the meantime, they will be releasing another single in the U.S. on February 21st.
