White Stripes announce release date and cover
The White Stripes have announced the release date of their upcoming album. They have also unveiled the album’s cover. The album Icky Thump will be released on Warner Bros. imprint Third Man. Icky Thump will hit stores on July 19th. The band has already released details of the album’s track listing.
Photobucket videos blocked on MySpace
MySpace.com has announced that has begun blocking videos from Photobucket. The social networking site said that they were blocking the videos from the photo site for violating their terms of service by encouraging members to post ads with their videos. Photobucket has made a statement in which they ask users to demand that MySpace change their decision.
Rage Against the Machine members confirm pre-Coachella pair up
Zack de la Rocha and Tom Morello have announced that they will play together before their reunion at Coachella. De la Rocha and Morello will play for free on April 14th at the Coalition of Immokalee Workers Truth Tour in Chicago. The pair will be part of a carnival and parade that will end in Federal Plaza that will celebrate a CIW, an organization made up largely of immigrants working low-wage jobs, over McDonald's.
