Angra have produced a concept album that never wallows in the mire. As with any truly great concept album, many of the tracks on this CD work on their own. The album tells the story of a Crusading knight who questions his task. The music is power prog combined with Dream Theater-like virtuosity and fusion jazz interludes. As you would expect with such a production, guests are aplenty including Kai Hansen (ex-Helloween, Gamma Ray) and Hansi Kursh (Blind Guardian). Despite the hour+ running time, the CD never gets dull or trying. I was reminded of Dream Theater's "MetropolisPart II: Scenes from a Memory" and Iron Maiden's "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" while listening to this disc, which is a very good thing indeed. This sort of release is not for everyone, but if you appreciate the genre then you will truly enjoy Angra's latest. Naturally, like many of such CDs, it gets better with each listen. This is an excellent slab of conceptual power metal prog.

Let the artist / record company know, perhaps?
You can't dodge a shadow, righ?
I listed Foreworks up there, instead of the DreamTheater piece. I saw a Temple of Shadows by Angrachmp45 on Amazon, but it was, it appeared, an audio book.
