Victory Records has announced that it will be releasing limited release vinyl versions of some of its artists. The albums will from Victory's bestsellers such as Comeback Kid, Bayside, Atreyu, Bad Brains, and Blood for Blood. The vinyl versions will be from the back catalogs of the artists and will be available in color or in clear vinyl. The albums will be released on May 1st, with only 200 copies of the color vinyl versions being released.
Fall Out Boy's Opening Competition
Fall Out Boy have announced that they are giving nineteen unsigned bands an opportunity to grab opening slots on their upcoming tour. Bands are asked to submit their details and their myspace page on MyLocalBands.com. In the near future, people will be able to go to the website and check out the bands that have entered and vote for their favorites. Fall Out Boy will be hitting the road with the Honda Civic Tour on May 11th.
Netvibe to Allow Personal Portals
Netvibes has announced that it will allow users to create personal internet portals. The company, which is one of Europe's hottest internet companies, have said that they will allow users to publish their personal homepages as personal web portals. The company will allow users to pull content from almost any website. The Paris based Netvibes has about 10 million users worldwide.
