May 5th 2006 would have been the 34th birthday of our good friend Matthew Osborne, a singer/songwriter/musician from Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Matt died on April 23rd 2004. He was one of the best musicians, and simply one of the best people any of us has had the privilege to know. In our second podcast episode, the members of Toronto indie band Uncle Seth share stories about this amazing man.

We miss you Matty.

My name is Jim. I'm from Quincy, Illinois (USA). I met Matt at the Blue Bird Cafe (Nashville, Tennessee) a few year's back. Matt was such an influence on me that I bought 3 of his CDs (Doggy Blues I've yet to purchase)and they're in my top ten rotation and have been for quite some time. God Bless Matt's family and his fans. He was a great influence on us all and he touched my heart.
