The hip hop community were out in LA on Tuesday night for the premiere of
new documentary movie 'Tupac: Resurrection'. Speaking to reporters at the event the film's director, Lauren Lazin, said: "Through this film we're discovering a new Tupac. People feel like they know Tupac, but he was such a
complicated and intense person. It's a very intimate, personal film showcasing his intelligence, his humor, his heart."
Seven years after his untimely death Tupac is as popular as ever, and Lazin
hopes that will be represented in the audience for her film. She added: "It's the largest release ever for a documentary feature, so it's real important the Tupac fans get out there and support it."

I stopped buying posthumously produced albums by Pac after Remember Me? I beleieve there was a reason these songs were not released. This man has had 8 posthumous albums, no one can deny his work ethic. Although as much as I appreciate Pac's contribution to the genre I beleive he would be revered more if the albums would cease or at least have more time between them.
I will allow myself to be pimped into buying the new book and seeing this film because I am curious about his story in his words, as if we don't already know his story. That is the power that is held by his charisma. Like Elvis fans who can not let go you want to soak up every bit of this character, who he was and why. I guess that is what true star power is.

i have got a strong feeling tupac isnt dead, no way in a 6 year period of true fame and waiting for death could you release that many songs! noone could! n that wanker saying 50 is an ass is an upper class, gangsta wannabe, social reject who cnt make it in the real world, 50 cent rules the world and ja rule is a complete ripoff of DMX!
