Thrice - The Earth Will Shake

Thrice put up another new song today from their forthcoming record Vhiessu on their Myspace site. The first single, "Image of the Invisible," is also up there and if you've been listening to PulverRadio at all you know I think that song is balls because I play it all the time.

Let me just take this moment to say that "The Earth Will Shake" is equally, if not more, balls.

I've been mildly nuts about Thrice since their last record, and when I heard a bunch of their new stuff at Bamboozle (and they played Brand New's "The Quiet Things...") I started to get excited about the new record. That was back in May. I've had plenty of time to get myself into this tizzy. What I've heard thusfar has more than convinced me the hype is right this time.

I'm notorious for overhyping bands I like, to the point where even I am wary of taking my own word for things. So go over to their Myspace page, and listen to the song. Am I overdoing it, or is that the biggest kick in the face you've had in weeks?

I thought so.

The record hits 10/18. Watch out.
