The Story of My Life, a CD with songs written by Deana Carter is the result of a long and highly anticipated effort to bring listeners a most wanted CD.
Having a wide range of songs from pop to country, there is something for everyone. One of my personal favorites was "Atlanta to Brimingham" in which Deana sings about how short a time it would take for her to visit someone she deeply cares about. In "The Girl You Left Me For", listeners will relate to the heartbreak caused by someone's leaving the relationship for someone else's arms.
Carter fans will remember her previous songs, "Strawberry Wine", that takes its fans into the throes of a romantic relationship characterized simple pleasures, such as wine sweetened by luscious strawberries. They might also recall "Did I Shave My Legs For This?" where Carter wonders if the effort she has put into the relationship is truly worth it.
This CD will be released March 8.
