The Song That You Can't Get Out of Your Head

Part of: There, I Said It!

Everyone has the following problem. You're at work or at home watching your favorite TV show and all of a sudden a song pops into your head and you can't get it out. I can't tell you how many times I've started singing Judy Garland's "Get Happy" out of nowhere and getting weird looks from my co-workers. It happens and thanks to the “Bombshells” episode of House, that song will forever be played in my head.

All I can say is to just go with it because the only way to get the song out of your head is to sing it until you get tired of it. For the most part though, that will never happen. You'll just get another song stuck in your head and the cycle will continue. You can't escape it, no matter how hard you try. It's a lot like the Energizer Bunny; it just keeps going and going and going, and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
