A friend who is moving to Nashville to pursue a songwriting career picked up this up for me while he was touring Sony Records.
There ain't much I can write about it, because Willie Nelson is simply greatness. There are a couple of songs I wouldn't have thought of. The U2 song, "Slow Dancing," written for Willie is performed as a duet with U2. And, a duet with Steven Tyler and Aerosmith, previously unreleased.
The most surprising thing to me is the jazziness of Willie's work. Listening to song after song, there is a definite looseness to his music, a feeling that the song could, and will, take an unexpected turn.
