Are you a fan of Queen? Live in the states? Have money to spend on imports? May I suggest “The Darkness” to you? They are one of the newest bands to take over the UK.
Now I have to be honest, I am not a big fan of 70’s “cock rock”… But I have to admit there are a few songs on here that got me humming along. I had the opportunity to catch them at “T in the Park” in Glasgow this year and they were quite entertaining. The lead singer likes to wear very um… interesting jumpsuits.
So, fan of Queen… feeling a bit nostalgic? Check out “The Darkness”. You just might be suprized.

One of the most fun and refreshing releases of the year, The Darkness is a breath of fresh air. Their label, Must Destroy Music should be thanked for taking a chance on them.
