Cure announce North American tour dates
The Cure have announced tour dates in North America. The band is set to hit 23 cities in September. 65 Days of Static will open all of the shows. The tour will roll through Atlanta, Washington D.C., Toronto, Chicago, and Denver among other cities. Ticket sales information has not been made available yet.
Apple has put a 20-minute guided tour of the features of its new iPhone up on its website. The tour covers the features of the iPhone from making a call to sending an email and using applications such as Google Maps. The tour covers the user interface, but does not include any of the technical information. The iPhone is due to hit stores at the end of June.
Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against the Machine to Play Voodoo Music Experience
It has been announced that Rage Against the Machine and The Smashing Pumpkins will play this year's Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans. The music festival has been expanded to three days and will be held October 26-28 in New Orleanss City Park. Other acts confirmed to play this year include Spoon, Sinead O'Connor, Wilco, Kings of Leon, Fall Out Boy and Ben Harper. General admission tickets to the festival go on sale on June 29th. VIP tickets will also be available for the festival; they will go on sale the following day and will include closer parking, upgraded bathrooms, access to a private entrance and food and drink.
