I hate to say it, but Boys of Summer by Don Henley and Run To You by Bryan Adams are both good crank-it-up tunes.

Ugh, how very white-bread of me to suggest those two!

Nelly's must be the money song, whatever it's called, Missy Eliot's Work It, U2's I Will Follow, Pearl Jam's Rearview, X's Motel Room In My Bed. And how could you not include "Highway Star" by Deep Purple? I hit about 120 in the fast lane when I hear that one.

The best way types of classic driving songs are the songs that when they are over, you have to turn off the radio for awhile. Because nothing else on the dial is coming close to what you just heard. With that in mind, my picks are Lou Christies' "Lightning Strikes Again," Frankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" and Pet Shop Boys "West End Girls"
