As a follow up to my "10 Songs to Cruise To" Post I have decided to come up with another list of 10 rainy day songs.
This one should be really popular amongst all my fellow citizens of Vancouver.

I love this list. I've been working on one for about 10 years and reordering it. I don't know why, but I've never considered the Cure, and a lot of their music is perfect. A couple of other groups to consider: Wilco (Anything from Summerteeth), The Postal Service (particularly Umbrella) and a good portion of The Suburbs catalogue are always worthy contenders. And, of course, Rain by the Beatles.

I love it!! I'm using some of these songs in a care package to my friend as a "mix tape"... I couldn't ever find the Cowboy Junkies tune... but I much approve of this list! :)

I'm making my own "Rainy Days" list.
I too had Famous Blue Raincoat, and another one of The Cure's songs - To wish impossible things. A beautiful tune, but I do love Plainsong also. :) I may have to reconsider!
