Sugarland's debut album Twice The Speed of Life has just been certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, commemorating sales of more than 2,000,000 copies.
"2005 was such a stellar year," says lead singer Jennifer Nettles. Sugarland was voted Favorite New Artist at the American Music Awards and is up for the Best New Artist Grammy. Sugarland will perform "Something More" at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards, broadcast live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 8 from 8:00pm-10:30pm/ET on the CBS Television Networks and 120 countries worldwide.
