It's like one of those flicks that have absolutely stunning cinematography, and some of the scenes are great, but the film still feels empty and a bit dull, regardless.
Language. Sex. Violence. Other? would make a great trailer.
Given time, it does improve, and songs begin to display a little individuality, but the question is, will anybody give it the chance? If I hadn't been reviewing it, I gotta be a million percent honest, I don't know that I would've been so patient.
But who the fuck am I? It's not like I'm doing it a favor by granting it that little bit more of my time.
But this is what a fella has to do, man. I'm sorry Kelly Jones, I think the record is distinctive and worthy of plenty merit, but it's the old thing about the whole is less than the sum of its parts.
Mathematical analogy is all. Probably Pythagoras would dig the fuck out of it.
