Slayer
Slayer has consistently delivered sound music and performances for over 20 years! Where there were not blueprints or set paths or boundaries--Slayer slaughtered the world with metal and punk and with fans love for all things fast, heavy and dark--Slayer set the stage above the rest. "Slayer (guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, vocalist/bassist Tom Araya, and drummer Dave Lombardo) set the new standard that all others continue to follow." They were named "Best Live Band" by Revolver, SPIN and Metal Hammer, won an Esky Award from Esquire, and won two Grammy awards.
They've also received a Kerrang! Hall of Fame Award, Revolver reader's poll awards...and the list keeps growing! Anthrax
Celebrating its 29th year as a band, Anthrax — along with Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth — is credited with originating the thrash genre. Anthrax "continues to be one of metal's all-time great acts." Megadeth
Since the 80's Megadeth rocked and sold over 20 million albums world wide, earning a total of six consecutive platinum albums and eight Grammy nominations for Best Metal Performance.
