Since By Man - We Sing the Body Electric

This release starts with a hurried, spoken-word manifesto of sorts and never looks back. Intricate guitar work and the snotty delivery of the vocals blend together in perfect form, and the sparse break downs come into the picture and all heck breaks loose.

Most obvious on this CD is the vocals. Thankfully Sam Macon doesn't fall into that "hardcore bravado" and limit himself. This album is akin to that bratty kid on the playground - the pre-teen who likes to take verbal jabs at kids twice his age. You know he'll get the snot beat out of himself but you just need to smile and enjoy the ride. It's that abrasive touch that makes me enjoy it so much more.

Buy this album or get beat up.
