Or in cyberspace, depending on where you're born to run. If you need a little pick-me-up after the long weekend and the official end of one soft infested summer, the first music video off the new Bruce Springsteen record, Magic, will premiere on Amazon.com on Tuesday, September 4.
For an exclusive 24 hours, watch Bruce in action, once again with the full E Street Band for the first time since 2002's The Rising, in the video for the album's debut scorcher of a rockin' single, "Radio Nowhere." The video captures the sights and sounds of Springsteen's old stomping grounds in New York City — might it be a serenade to 82nd Street, 57th Street and of course, that giant Exxon sign?
Click to the Amazon site to watch the video. If you can't wait for Tuesday, download "Radio Nowhere" for free from iTunes. Magic releases on October 2, and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.com for $9.99. The world tour supporting the record will also open on the same day, beginning in Hartford, Connecticut, for a 15-city, earth-shaking romp through North America. And if you can't wait for that, Bruce is taking the band out on the street for yet another first — a live concert on Rockefeller Plaza during the Today Show show, playing "Radio," other Magic tracks, and classic warhorses.
