This morning (and this is not an April fool's joke) I had a surprise waiting for me in the shower. When I turned it on, I immediately noticed it wasn't draining as well as it should. Immediately I thought to myself: shit, better buy some Draino. Turns out that won't be necessary.
To my utter amazement and disgust, a gigantic centipede crawled out of the drain, and sat there in the basin, waterlogged but alive. The thing was over an inch long. When they're that big, I don't have the stomach to squash them, and since the thing was basically drowned anyway, I just scooped it up in some toilet paper and threw it down the trash chute.
