I think blaming slipknots aloud of bollocks, and ripping them off was deffinatly the wrong term to use, J mann is wat i hope to become as a vocalist, very powerful, but mushroomhead are strong, they will survive, but this has nothing to do with slipknot, if he left because of them then he isnt the person i think he was, but i doubt he did leave cause of them, he has his excuses, but its his choice, long live mushroomhead and slipknot the only good music there is!

J Mann left because his dad was ill. I read it months back from some interview. He is running like a record label type thing now. He is still in his other bands I think, but Mushroomhead was on tour at the time and he had to go spend time with his dad even though they weren't close if I can remember. It's kind of like how the singer from Soil left. "Family related issues" It's all good though. He is still great and I know the replacement guy is awesome from what I've heard. I hope a band that he is in gets popular someday.

first of all, it's not the singer who makes up a band. if that were true, then why don't all the good singers have their own record deals ect ?Because it's not about who's a better whatever. The point is that the band is a group and all of the members are equal. Yeah, it is dissapointing that one member left, but you have to move on. Trust the band, they'll do what they have to do. if you really support the band then support them now, when they need you guys the MOST.

There was one I believe....back in 99, but its over now as far as I can tell. Besides, the feud wasn't even between the bands -- its the fans sticking up for their respective bands that made the whole topic blow up to epic proportions. When Slipknot came out, supporters of Mushroomhead (mostly from Cleveland) accused Slipknot of ripping off the bands costumes and masks. I don't know why people are so into making the bands war. Neither group is the first or last to wear masks and make up and paint.
Mudvayne, GWAR, Slipknot, Mushroomhead, Motograter and a list of others I don't feel like naming have all done something to add to a self expression of the band.
If you appreciate music and the bands then appreciate them but going back and forth and calling each other names and saying most of what people have been posting on this site only makes you look like the children you are.
Bands want unity and strength. What if Slipknot and Mushoomhead decided to colab and do a big set just to shut up the fans? or publicaly asked for the foolishnesh to stop. Come on now just love the music and the bands.
Post properly and stop making each other look like 12 year old girls arguing about nothing.

I think Waylon's doing an awesome job taking JMann's place. I'm a Slipknot fan, and I heard some songs from Mushroomhead with JMann a while back, but I just didn't pay much attention. Now that Mushroomhead's new album is out, and now that I've heard Simple Survival, I can't ignore these guys anymore. Now that I'm listening to some of Mushroomhead's older stuff (with JMann), I think Waylon is doing just fine.

Actually he's a good singer and has alot of variety in his sound. He can sing soft he can sing hard he can scream and he can bolt growls.
J-mann decided to leave because of his father situation can you blame him? It's over they have a new singer get over it. Who knows what may happen in the future maybe they will all come together in one band. However he's in bands that do not require his 24/7 presence.
