There's an interesting article on Hilary Rosen in the current Wired Magazine. Not online yet, but it does point out what is the biggest problem with the RIAA and others such as CRIA (in Canada), she's not a songwriter, she's not musician, she's not a manager, she's not a recording engineer, she's not a performer, she's not an artist. She's a lobbyist. And that is all she is. She services politicians. There's a five letter word for that. If she, and the others like her were to ply their trade in the industry, they would be known as, what's the word?, oh, yes, failures.
"A sinister cabal of superior writers."
