Given that EMI's share price seems to wobble everytime there is bad news on Robbie Williams' performance in the US the record label's bosses presumably won't be too happy with an interview Robbie gave to a US magazine in which he admitted he is unlikely to break America because he can't be bothered touring. "I could break the States if I toured. It would solve everything because the live show is great but I'm not prepared to work that hard." EMI, with £80 million to lose, may well be expecting Williams to work at least that hard!
Marty: Brilliant performer, songwriter and lad; sometimes not the sharpest marketing tool though. The last time he opened his mouth he sided with illegal MP3 downloaders.
