Keith Richards to Have Brain Surgery
Keith Richards is set to have surgery to deal with a brain hemorrhage. The Rolling Stones guitarist was originally diagnosed with a concussion after falling out of a tree while on vacation in Fiji. Further examination changed the diagnosis to brain hemorrhage. The surgery is intended to relieve swelling caused by the hemorrhage.
Neil Young started recording his latest offering on March 29th. The album called Living with War is a response to current events, taking the Iraq war as its subject matter. The album is said to contain 10 tracks, 9 of which are originals. Of those 9, Young recorded four of them the day they were written. The record is due out on May 8th.
Social networking site Bebo has recently seen a spike in UK based web searches. In the 8 weeks prior to April 29th, Bebo’s share of visits was up 45%. This contrasts with Myspace, the social networking website owned by Rupert Murdoch, which was up only 29% in the same period. Although Myspace still has a 17% larger share of visits, it appears that Bebo is growing in popularity as a social networking site.
