You have free will, just avoid the song. If you like the song, stop trying to convince people that it is good. If they don't like it, then your only making them angry with you. I totally reject this notion that critics should only write about what they like. Sure, I can turn off a video if I hate it, and you can stop reading an article if it makes you mad. I'm not responsible for your feelings but I have a right to my opinions.
I like to laught at things that suck. So do a lot of people. We're not all going to agree about what sucks, however, so maybe a thicker skin is in order. You can find plenty of examples of people who agree with you on this thread, too.
As for Steven, it's a well known fact that people who go around calling other people gay (which is what you're implying) are themselves sexually conflicted.

This an awesome song. Endless slow groove. The silliness of the video and format of the song mocks the projection of self-importance of so many artists. R Kelly is free of judgement. The guy is on fire. I can't say I have followed the whole story of the song but seems to me a inspired effort. Again much of the gospel funk slow groove allows him to say anything absurd or intelligent. As long as his vocals ride the groove which it does well. The video is awesome. Works in almost every way. R Kelly due to publicity is hateable. This video seems to reflect a far from evil force. It was his excommunication from the mainstream that probably allowed him to have this freedom.
So much music is a fucking nightmare. The casual passerby is going to pan this as unwatchable, but this effort will shine way more brighter than everyday poser rocker rapstars
