Review: New Bon Jovi Single - "Have A Nice Day" - Page 2

Even with the video not following the lyrical content of the song, the video was just a good video. It was fun, and after twenty years of making music videos Bon Jovi seems to know what they are doing when it comes to making them. Bon Jovi is a good performance act as well, so any time you get to see this group on stage its a good thing.

Those waiting to see a video for the second single off this CD will have to stop waiting. According to a recent interview, Jon Bon Jovi has said a second video will not be made and those production costs that would normally be used to film a video will instead be given to charity. The $450,000 costs will be used to help build homes for Habitat for Humanity in Philadelphia.

The CD is set for release on the 20th of September in the US, with a release a week earlier in Japan. Bon Jovi does plan to tour to support this album with dates starting in November and going through December. At this point, the tour looks to be opening in Chicago.

This E-card launches audio, video, and live versions of the song - check it out.

Have a nice day is a good fun song with an attitude and the video is great fun, which is all vids are really supposed to be don't you think? The buzz around this record is very good, alot of fans are really getting behind this one . i can't wait for the release and I feel some flying miles getting used up over the winter. I'd heard some of the tracks have been leaked out places, and that they are great. I can't wait for the CD to come out and for the tour. I only wish they were opening here in Phoenix like they did previously.

At this point, I think the only thing that's been said as far as a second single has been there are no plans to make a video for it.

They already filmed their second video, I believe for the song "welcome to where ever you are" but Jon said it wouldn't be released for a long while. There is nothing on the bands site saying their gonna open the show in chicago, in fact, no tour dates have been set as of now.

Official tour dates have not been set yet, but Chicago was mentioned as an opening city. That could change until the dates are officially set. As for the video, I read about that a couple of places. One of them being here.

The song completley ROCKS! It takes all the best that BonJovi has to offer .they are a group that never changed for anybody or any trend and to still be rock out like this is unreal. True fans of the old stuff should have the same smile they had when they first heard you give love a bad name. and should have a smile just like the cover of their new album. Hard driving gutiars, drums should make this tour the best by far, Much respect for the guys for giving us true rock fans an album to blast out our sound systems till the speakers blow. Can't wait for the tour. Peace people

    Hi,
I've tried to find the complete text from "Have A Nice Day" but can not find. Who can help?

If by complete text you mean complete lyrics? These are the ones I have:

Why you wanna tell me how to live my life? Who are you to tell me if it's black or white? Momma can you help me try to understand? Innocence is the difference between a boy and a man. My daddy lived and died, thats the price of pain, sacrificed his life slaving away. If there is one I hang on to, it gets me through the night. Ain't gonna do what I don't want to. Gonna live my life. Shining like a diamond. Rolling with the dice. Standing on the ledge, showing the wind I can fly. When the world gets in my face, I say have a nice a day! Take a look around you. Nothing is what it seems. We're living in a broken home of hopes and dreams. Let me be the first to shake a helping hand of anybody brave enough to take a stand. I knocked on every door on every dead end street. Looking for forgiveness. What's left to believe? If there is one I hang on to, it gets me through the night. Ain't gonna do what I don't want to. Gonna live my life. Shining like a diamond. Rolling with the dice. Standing on the ledge, showing the wind I can fly. When the world gets in my face, I say have a nice a day! When this world keeps trying to drag me down. I got to raise my hands and stand my ground. When the world gets in my face, I say have a nice a day!

I think they are fairly accurate, but there are a couple of iffy spots.

I have recently listened to this album and I must say that this is by far the worst Bon Jovi album I have ever heard. I have been a fan of this (rock) band for MANY years but this new POP style they are playing is just crap. The song "unbreakable" sounds like it was written for Britney Spears. I must say I am very disappointed with this.

I have listened to the whole album of "Have A Nice Day" and I rate it has Bon Jovi's best album yet. I hope they release the song "Unbreakable" because it will go to number one in the singles chart if they do.

This album is out of control. It's so good. He has a lot of good songs and I like in the end it may be better than Crush. Hopefully, people go out of support it. Tour tickets go on sale Oct. 1 for most of the shows. Support Bon Jovi
