Raspberries Reunion Photos

Photographer Gene Taylor has posted two pages of photos from the Raspberries reunion show at his web site. Click on Rock & Roll on the left on the home page, and then the image of the House Of Blues ticket.

One interesting note from a guitarist's perspective is that the band has what looks like Vox Valvetronix stacks as a backline (they appear to be too short and have no trolleys, therefore I'm sure they aren't Super Beatles).

They are playing on New Years Eve @ HOB in Cleveland. A tour of LA, New ORleans, Chicago and another city is in the works for next year.

John Soeder of the PD has a story here, but it isn't really a review

If this Raspberries re-union goes well I wonder if they'll get "The Choir" back
    together.Since it's largely the same (3
of the original R's)line up it wouldn't
seem to be too much of a stretch.

I never knew "The Outsiders" were from
    Clevo.

I think Youngstown originally (like the Dead Boys) but they migrated to Cleveland, the Big City

I am the guitar tech for Wally and help out on Eric and my original list of equipment posted above was incorrect. Eric has 1 Rickenbacker and 2 Fender Stratocasters. Although he likes the Ric & Fenders he really likes the Variax from Line 6. I really beleive that is what you will be seeing him play more often.
