The controls and switches aren't just glued on, immovable pieces of plastic. The five position switch actually moves back and forth, while the tone and volume knobs turn with some realistic resistance. The chrome bridge assembly has a mounting hole for the tremolo bar, which itself is poseable. The replica even has an output jack to accommodate an amplifier replica (not available yet). There's so much detail in this guitar that when I gently plucked the tiny strings, I half-expected to create a tune.
The Fender Stratocaster replica would make a great present for anyone who's ever dreamed of becoming the next music superstar, guitar aficionados, or for someone who just appreciates music. Then again, why give it as a present for someone else? Get one for yourself and display this bad boy on your desk!

A nice collectable, but I'll wait for the Telecaster model. Or, depending on the price, maybe I'll just go out and buy another Tele.
