On February 4, 2007, Prince gave one of the greatest live performances ever seen on television. He performed a medley of hits: “Let’s Go Crazy,” “Baby I’m a Star,” “Proud Mary,” “All Along The Watchtower,” “The Best of You,” and a finale of “Purple Rain” during the Superbowl Halftime Show. I think that one reason nobody cared about the Prince thing is that the electric guitar has been seen as a phallic symbol since the day it was invented. Everyone knows it and accepts it. It's common. What's not common is seeing Janet's titty come flopping out during a football game. Now I personally have no problem with either (I thought Prince was brilliant!), but WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?????
