Previously unknown Bach aria found has been found in the town of Weimar, Germany. The handwritten piece represents work from Bach’s early period. The Aria was given as a birthday present to the Duke of Weimar in 1713 and was found at the back of a book that was previously thought to only contain poetry from a local Weimar poet.
