I do the unmentionable - ahem, Robert Duffy :-) - and talk about Podcasts and Podcasting. But mostly I talk about songs that have a "color" link and on Hurricane Katrina and a little something I like to call hope.
The TAS Show is officially named Talkin' About Synchronicity. Though strangely it will remain the TAS Show in casual conversation. I'll explain more in Podcast5 on why I came up with that.
Wanna yack at me about this? - temple@blastyourpodcast.com

Talking about podcasting -- haha! I try to avoid it, but darnit, there is quite a bit of interesting stuff going on in the world of 'casting. So far I'm staying away, but the pull is strong.

Gracias for the shoutout, TS. I liked the common thread concept for the songs. Good mix (except Over The Rainbow, because it made me fearful of flying monkeys.)
Since you mentioned constructive criticism, I'd only offer that you might increase the level on your TALK segments in post-production, since it was low as compared to the songs' volume.

I'm just going to play with the tools in audacity tonight and maybe more tomorrow to boost the voice.
I did work on keeping the microphone and my face about the same distance so it wouldn't fluctuate.
Shout it from the rooftops.
PS I bought myself a headset mic, and await its arrival ....

I used the gain slider in Audacity to level my tracks too. Major help before finalizing. Hope you enjoy your headest mic.

Finally back into the p-casting mode, Temple, and got to listen to your show. Good music, good thematic prose -- nice job!

I think this one may be my favorite.
% seems more "radio-ey" though.
Thanks EB.
