Christian rockers POD had to cancel a gig in Germany this week when their
sound check literally brought the house down. The band were due to take part
in a gig for German radio station Einslive on Tuesday. But as their soundcheck reached concert noise levels, parts of the ceiling loosened and started crashing to the floor. Needless to say, the venue's management had to cancel the gig on safety grounds. The station quickly booked an alternative venue across town and rescheduled the gig for Wednesday night. As far as we're aware that roof stayed up.
