CBS Encourages Fan Films for March Madness
CBS is encouraging fans to submit viral videos in support of their favorite teams to their CSTV. Using the slogan “Are you Fan Enough?” CBS is hoping to attract advertising revenues from those interested in reaching college-educated men. CBS bought the rights to broadcast NCAA basketball in 2003.
Greatest Hits Album Due out From Notorious BIG
A Greatest hits record from the Notorious BIG is set to be released on March 6th. The album marks the 10th anniversary of the rapper’s death, who was shot in Los Angeles on March 9, 1997. The album is said to feature two previously unreleased tracks “Want That Old Thing Back” and “Runnin’ Ya Mouth”.
Extension Given for Glastonbury Registration
The deadline to register for this year’s Glastonbury festival has been extended. The registration period has been extended five days and it will now end at Midnight on March 5th. This is the first year the registration has been necessary in order to buy a ticket. The system has been implemented in order to cut down on touting. Only registered people will be allowed to buy tickets when they go on sale on April 1st. This year’s festival will take place June 22nd-24th.
