The magazine Punk Planet has said that it will close down after its next issue. The magazine will close after issue 80 and is citing a shrinking subscriber base and advertising revenues, online publications and distribution problems as reasons for the shut down. The magazine, which took a look at things such as politics and art from a mature standpoint has said that it will continue to run its website as a social networking site. The publisher will also continue to publish books.
Google to Launch YouTube in Local Languages
Google has announced that it has launched YouTube sites in local languages. The local language sites were launched in nine countries. The national sites were launched in Ireland, Italy, Britain, Brazil, Japan, Poland, Spain, France and the Netherlands. The sites offer fully translated homepages and video search functions. Google says that in time the pages will come to have their own feel which will include their video rankings.
50 Cent has released the track listing from his upcoming album. The album entitled Curtis will be released on September 4th this year. The album contains 18 tracks with titles including "Fully Loaded Clip", "She Wants it", and "Movin on Up". the album also includes collobrations with such artists as Mary J. Blige, Young Buck, Akon, Tony Yayo and Nicole Sherzinger.
