My Chemical has set a release date for their third album. The album is still untitled and is set to be released on October 23rd. The album has been produced by Rob Cavallo and will be follow-up the CD/DVD Life on the Murder Scene. It will be their first new material since 2004's Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.
The Company Ice Energy has developed a new energy storage unit that could cut down on the power needed for air conditioning by 30%. The unit, called Ice Bear, uses a tank of that it freezes into ice at night. During the day, the refrigerant is passed through the tank which lowers its temperature. Their units are aimed at businesses, but they are testing residential units.
The Best of compilation Oasis is set to release will be titled Stop the Clocks. The tracklist for the double disc has been released. The list contains eighteen tracks labeled as the band’s best and picked by the members. Some of the tracks that will appear on the album are The Importance of Being Idle, Masterplan, Some Might Say, Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger. There is no release date set for the album yet.
