Blue Note has what sounds like an interesting series of "Blue Note plays" albums this week, including volumes for Burt Bacharach, Stevie Wonder and the Beatles. Unfortunately there's no information at Amazon for exactly WHO at Blue Note is playing what.
That can be found here.

Excellent. Thank you JR.

John Zorn's Tzadik label did a Bacharach tribute a few years back, looks a lot more interesting, and certainly more risky, than the Blue Note one (can't say for sure, don't own it - but I've heard a live version of Bill Frisell's "What the World Needs Now" and it's gorgeous, as expected.)
