If you're into boring tuneless loud noise presented as "music," then this should be a big week for you. Specifically, we get a new Nine Inch Nails opus With Teeth. Also, Limp Bizkit (reunited with guitarist Wes Borland) has The Unquestionable Truth, Pt. 1.
Those will likely be among the big sellers, but there are at least a couple of albums for music fans. Notably, Aimee Mann has a new set, The Forgotten Arm. Also, Ryan Adams says he plans to put out three new albums this year. The first one is out now - a double album, Cold Roses.
There are also a couple of new soundtrack albums in the top 10 at Amazon. The soundtrack to Spamalot is out now, as is Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith [Bonus DVD].

Jesus, Al, how old are you, 84? This is the kind of comment that comes out of someone's grumpy old grandpa, not a music fan. Regardless, it's quite an impressive piece of music, even if you ARE into "tuneless loud noise." You should give it a listen with an open mind before jumping to conclusions. It's pretty universally getting great reviews from critics and fans alike.

Dear Mr Johnson: Flibeldy-flew! Back in my day we had these things called SONGS, and we liked it. We LOOOVED it!
I confess not having heard any of these new albums. It is possible that Reznor has suddenly become a real musician when I wasn't looking. It's possible that this new album will not turn out to be a completely worthless piece of unpleasant noise, as has everything else by this artist.

excuse my french, but what the fuck does "real musician" mean?

Aw, shit, Al! And here I thought you'd be looking at a picture of Lyndie Englund while masturbating along with the United States Army Band's new rave-up, "Forward March"
I'm shocked, but *hopeful.
* the day is young
