New album releases, week of 4-12-2005

Part of: New CDs

The freaks of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band have a best of album out containing cuts from all of their albums, This Is the Dirty Dozen Brass Band Collection.

If you consider the ability to break glass at 50 yards with your voice proof of musical talent, then you're in luck. Mariah Carey has a new album out on Def Jam records, The Emancipation of Mimi.

Garbage has a new platter, Bleed Like Me. I didn't think they were that popular, but they're already #6 on the Amazon sales charts.

Also, Willie Nelson has whipped up a tsunami relief record, notable for the total lack of anyone else above the C list. What, he couldn't get Mellencamp to do "Small Town" just one more time for the poor tsunami people?
