Neutral Agreement Bet you never thought...

If punk rock’s life was hanging in the balance, and the decision rested on whether or not Future Destination recording artist, Neutral Agreement, had any talent— punk would be dead.

Their debut CD, Bet you never thought…, really should not have had an ellipses. It should have been ‘Bet you never thought punk rock could sound this bad’. The vocalist on this album failed to hit any note on key. The drummer knew one beat—and not even that well. The guitarist was off time. They are the epitome of the word horrible.

This CD should not have been made until the band had at least two more years of practice/experience. It’s a shame to see standards being set so low in the music industry now days-the only thing more embarrassing would have been if they had put out a video.

Buy it from Future Destination Records

Man, this is a pathetic excuse for a album review. I don't think you actually gave this album a listen. Be a little more professional next time.

"The vocalist on this album failed to hit any not on key"

    What? Is that English?

hey Aaron, sorry we missed that editing error, we'll try to do better for you next time.

Other than that I think Jeff nailed the CD on the head.

I think they rock and they are great people. I met them after a show and they were very down to earth. Besides, go to interpunk they are rated number #1 for best song on the new tooth and nail "I'm your biggest fan volume 2" comp. That says something going up against the likes of Dogwood, Anberlin, Too Bad Eugene, and Vroom. Besides, just go to a live show...they deliver.

Hey Aaron. I was just wondering if you are completely perfect in everything you do and say? I know, for a fact, that i am not perfect and will probably make more mistakes in the future. I am however a journalims major and am taking time out of my day to let the public know what cd's i think are a waste of money. What are you doing for the scene besides reading reviews and making enemies?

Hrmm, I'm sorry to see that Aaron doesn't have any talent as a music reviewer. That review, a bit too negative for good measure, lacked professional criticism and was too full of bad analogies. Grammatical errors, hrmm, and apparently the guy was a bit off the mark, since reviewers are supposed to tell the masses whether or not they'll want to buy it, and I'm thinking that most people will want to buy this CD.

It is an awesome CD... and punk rawk... isn't that about the music? About the concerts? If the singer doesn't have the best voice, and the drummer isn't up to your par, but I've seen these guys in concert, and they are all about the music, and they *are* punk rawk.

Feel free to critisize my review of a review, I left plenty of mistakes in there to be ripped apart ;)

    1. I wrote the review, any "grammatical errors" that were not caught are the fault of the editors--and Mike at buzzgrinder did a bang up job in my opinion.

2.If you read other reviews that I have written----you will see that when there is a good point to be made--I make it. Neutral Agreemsnt has no good points. Thus, I did not make any. Are you seeing where I am going with this Sam?
