The album is recorded well and has a nice aural soundstage when listening on a high-end system, but sounds just fine on a mid-fi system or computer as well. It might be a touch too "digital" sounding for some tastes (it's a very clean production without any real hint of analog in the signal chain other than in the guitar amps) but I think it works very well in almost any listening situation.
One thing I especially like about this record is that it works not only for a dedicated listening session but also as standalone tracks in a mix/segue context.
