They have certainly poured their heart and soul into the album which brims full of enough energy to make recharging your MP3 player somewhat redundant. There are several immediate attention grabbers on here such as “Gossip”, “If I Were In Your Shoes”, “Save It For The Bedroom”, “Finders Keepers”, and the title track itself.
Having singled those tracks out, there is a relentless finger-on-the-pulse drive and focus to the whole album that makes it a winner. Further evidence can be found with “Nasty Habits”, “Call That A Comeback”, and “If You Run”. It's an album that rarely loses sight of its target.
Two previously unheard acoustic additions are on the U.S. release namely alternative versions of “Finders Keepers”, and“Save It For The Bedroom” which take the total of tracks to a huge nineteen.
They manage to keep a consistent quality throughout and end the original set list with “The Rumour” one of the standout tracks. As I type, You Me At Six are in the hotbed of America, where bands such as this arrive with much more frequency. This is their chance to underline the promise that can be heard on this album and take their place among them.
