Music Review: Mullets Rock! Too!: Mullets in Love - Page 2

4.) “I Just Want to Make Love to You” by Foghat
Originally written by Willie Dixon this is a great, great blues song. I already have the Rolling Stones’ version on my iPod but this is a nice contrast, and probably the only Foghat song I’d consider worthy.

5.) “Baby Hold On” by Eddie Money
Oh, Hell No! I hate Eddie Money. He blows goat so bad I can’t even describe it. This and that other piece of crap he recorded “Two Tickets to Paradise” are a justification for people who burn albums in the name of all things holy.

6.) “Jane” by Jefferson Starship
Another loser, I don’t think I have ever even heard this song before listening to this compilation. I’ll take “We Built This City” over this any day of the week.

7.) “Fantasy” by Aldo Nova
Now, I’ve heard this before but I had no idea who recorded it until now. Another resounding “not worthy” For some reason it makes me think of the Kiss song “Tears are Falling” and that song I would welcome onto my iPod with open arms.

8.) “Burning For You” by Blue Oyster Cult
This is not a great song by any stretch of the imagination but I like it and always have. I just hope their not talking about an STD.

9.) “I Hate Myself For Loving You” by Joan Jett
Yes! I love this song. It makes me want to strip-down to my skivvies and think about Joan Jett being my girlfriend. Great lyrics and and an even better drum beat makes this the best song on the CD so far. iPod here comes that little vixen Joan Jett!

10.) “Love Stinks” by J. Giles Band
Now this is a fun song but the J. Giles Band has much better and this one is only good at birthday parties and in Adam Sandler movies.

11.) “Love Hurts” by Nazareth
This has got to be one of the saddest songs ever. It ranks right alongside “Celluloid Heroes” by The Kinks that makes me all misty. I have no desire to have this come up on shuffle during a work out.
