Lots of X sounds silly, lots of it sounds sexy, and most of it is solid danceable pop. This is a record that will eternally rotate in clubs and on dance floors around the world. The beats are tantalizing and the melodies are rock-solid. Minogue’s vocals fade either into the backdrop or right through the vocal apparatus, rendering her incredibly reticent throughout the album’s 13 tracks, but the courage of the comeback is reason enough to love the fiery Aussie.
"A sinister cabal of superior writers."

Thank you so much for yet another positive review of X. It's the only CD I've been listening to since I got it in December. Among my favorite songs with this release are the bonus tracks "Cherry Bomb", "Do It Again" and "Carried Away", great club music. Love "Wow (Death Metal Disco Scene Mix)" and the Soulwax KYLUSS Remix of "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", too!

Spot on! Kylie has always been as her best when she doesn't take herself seriously. She's always been tongue n cheek, so its no surprise her life after cancer picks up where it left off... continuing the party. The album has 3 nods to her personal struggle, No More Rain (which you can actually picture her lying in bed dreaming of being back on stage again), Stars & Cosmic. The rest of the songs keep sexy going. She makes no bones about being THE showgirl & rightfully so - the show goes on.
