The Rebirth of Kirk Franklin spent 29 weeks at the summit of the Gospel Albums charts and even charted at #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The album features lead single, "Brighter Day," in addition to fan favorites "Hosanna" and "911."
Hero (2005) peaked at #13 on the Billboard 200. The album has been certified platinum (1,000,000 copies sold) and featured the Grammy-winning song "Imagine Me." In 2006, Kirk Franklin received two Grammy Awards for Best Gospel Song ("Imagine Me") and Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album (Hero).
Songs for the Storm, Volume 1 (2006) peaked at #74 on the Billboard 200. While not a complete retrospective of Franklin's career, Songs for the Storm features Kirk Franklin's more reverent (read: less secular) masterpieces: "He Will Take the Pain Away," "Conquerors" and "The Storm is Over Now."
