This album is Feist at her best, and not just for glimpses or seasons, but the whole way through. Some included vignettes will make you wish you could get paid to go away and cut a pretty, honest album with friends, which is what Feist has done with Metals. I give it a 2.5/3 on my truth/goodness/beauty doohickey.
